Celebrate Excellence

Wishing to celebrate the exceptional successes of the students and
employees of Greenfield-Central Community School Corporation, the school board,
school administration and staff support the implementation of Celebrate
Excellence, a program to recognize students and their coaches, and employees
who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in school-related activities and
competitions.
Celebrate Excellence will be included annually on the school board agenda in the months of November,
April and July during the Routine Matters section of the meeting.
Individual students and school teams/groups, as well as employees,
who have achieved success at a level outlined in the criteria below, will be
invited to attend the school board meeting to be recognized.
Criteria for Celebrate Excellence
STUDENT/TEAM:
Each student/group must meet at least one (1) of the following
criteria:
1.
ACADEMIC:
a. Advanced Placement score of “5”
b. Advanced Placement with Honors
c. National Merit Scholar
Semi-Finalist/Finalist
d. State/National Academic
Competition recognition
2.
COMPETITION IN THE ARTS
a. State level band competition
qualifier
b. Solo/Ensemble competition
Division I Superior 1 rating
c. Art competition State/National
winner
3.
EXTRA-CURRICULAR COMPETITIONS
a. Rube Goldberg state finalist
b. Academic team(s) state level
qualifier
c. FFA/Business/Consumer Science
state level finalists
4.
ATHLETIC:

EMPLOYEE:
